10. Installation 10.1 Placement guidelines (As per BS 5839-9: 2011) The VoCALL 16 system is intended for indoor usage. Outstations should not be installed outdoors unless an IP65, or better housing, is used and cables are installed so as to prevent the ingress of moisture.

10. Installation 10.3 Network topology VoCALL 16 system has been designed to enable simple installation and easy expansion. VoCALL MX 16 panel can be connected to Outstation variants – Type A, Type B on a single loop. Up to 16 Outstations, of any variant and combination, can be connected to the Panel.

16.2 Routine daily check If VoCALL 16 system is installed in a location where audible fault warnings could be unnoticed for more than 24 hours, a special check should be performed each day to confirm that the “System Healthy” LED is illuminated and LCD indicates ‘System Healthy’, or any faults that are indicated are receiving necessary attention.
