17 . Software upgrades

17.2 Panel Update

If it is not feasible to upgrade the entire installation together, panels and their
connected Outstations can be updated individually.
1. Copy the files in SD-card -> Updates folder, of relevant panel.
2. Update the Main panel first. Upgrade the other panels in increasing order of their
internal address (listing on the Main panel).
3. Login to the panel (local or remotely via Main panel) with Engineer 2 details.
4. Go to option 'Install' [#9].
5. Go to option 'update Software'. [#4].

6. Select the file from the list of files for upgrade.
7 . Panel will ask for confirmation to perform the upgrade.
8. When updating firmware for both Panel and Outstation, it is recommended to
update Outstation firmware first, followed by Panel
Verify the firmware version after the upgrade process is completed. Refer menu
option 'Panel Information'. Perform basic testing of the system for correct operation.
