10. Installation

10.3 Installation architecture

VoCALL 16 has been designed to enable simple installation and aid ease of
expansion of an installed system. VoCALL 16 offers features that are designed to
support different installation types and requirements. The system can be configured
in two forms:
1. Standalone:
a. Suitable for smaller installations.
b. Loop wired architecture.
c. Network capacity: One main panel connected with up to 16 Outstations
(loop powered, any variant/ combination).
2. Network:
a. Suitable for high rise or spread out buildings .
b. Loop wired architecture for both panel and outstation installation.
c. Network capacity: 32 panels, with up to 16 loop-powered Outstations on each
panel.
d. Configuration: One main panel (network master) + up to 31 main / network
panels (network slaves).
Installation and configuration of the network is to be carried out by
