1. Checking the Warning Labels on the Main Unit
Make sure warning markings are attached on the model 2000.
If any of them are missing or the wording is illegible, contact Toshiba's Service Department.
[Warning Mark on model 2000]
This is a warning mark indicating a dangerous point or place. It is pasted on the module
!
at points where there is a danger of electric shock, and where the wrong wiring could
cause module breakdown. Observe the following when you see the mark on the module.
(1)
Touching the power input terminal on the power unit is very dangerous when power is on because
of the danger of electric shock. Do not touch the power input terminal.
(2)
For safety, be sure to switch power off before wiring, maintenance and inspection.
(3)
Correctly wire the power input terminal and do not apply voltage beyond the specified voltage
range. This is important to prevent module failure and breakdown.
(4)
Before connecting a connector to the Tool Port, switch off the tool (personal computer, for example).
After connecting the tool port, switch on the tool.

cial attention in handling and operating the model 2000 module are described. Be sure to read them.

other objects.
[Warning Seal]
The warning seal shown at left is located on the power terminal
board of model 2000 (unless the rated voltage is less than 24 V)
Separate the seal from the ground paper, and stick it to the model
2000 module or near it where the seal is easy to see.
has two parts, one in Japanese and the other in English. Use
whichever part as necessary.
Remove the ground paper before wiring the module. If the seal is
broken or stained, call your nearest Toshiba service shop.
