The procedures for registering the DN611s in using them connected to the S controller
are as follows:
Register DN611s in the target station using the Engineering Tool.
Supplementary Note
• Before registering DN611s, register target systems, stations, and controller folders in the
Engineeringg Tool.
• Register DN611s before creating a program that uses DN611s.
Concrete examples are given below by way of explanation. It is assumed that the
system folder (DN611TST), station folder (DN611TST) and controller folder (S2-TEST)
have been registered in advance.
(1) Starting registration
Select [Station DN611TST] in the folder column of the Product View menu of the
Engineering Tool, and double-click [Station Configuration].
The station's configuration editor starts to open the hardware configuration menu.
