The ADAM-5090 module provides four RS-232 ports for communica-
tion with target devices. The ports are numbered 1 through 4. For
programming, the definition of port number depends on the slot
number and port number. For example, the second port on the ADAM-
5090 in slot 1 is defined to port 12 (refer to table 6.1).
This section tells you how to set the jumpers to configure your
ADAM-5090 module. There are four jumpers on the PC Board. User
can choose RI signal or 5V output for each port by setting these
jumpers (system default is RI signal).
