Q
uickLookup (number guessing/auto completion)
When QuickLookup is enabled, the phone begins searching its directory and call lists, for names
and numbers containing the sequence typed on the phone's keypad as soon as you have typed the
minimum number of digits specified for this feature. If LDAP is configured on the phone, the phone
will also send an LDAP query. In firmware version 10.1.33.33 and higher the function is enabled in
the default setting, in lower versions it is disabled by default.
The default minimum number of characters that must be entered before number guessing will start
is three (3). There is a short delay before the QuickLookup search begins, so as to avoid unnecessary
searches if the user keeps entering numbers. The search is triggered 500 ms after the last digit was
entered if the required number of digits have been entered.
Using QuickLookup: see "QuickLookup (number guessing/auto completion)" on page 54.
