OPERATING THE ENGINE

CAUTION
To avoid any personal injury:
•
The warning and caution labels
on the tractor should be read
and followed carefully.
•
It is very important to allow
proper ventilation when the
engine is operated indoors or
within enclosed spaces to avoid
concentration of emissions.
•
Do not start the engine without
the operator being seated. This
may result in an accident.
IMPORTANT
•
Use of fluids or additives for
starting the tractor can cause
tractor damage and can not be
covered by the warranty.
•
Do not attempt to start the trac-
tor for more than 10 seconds.
This can cause damage to the
starting motor or battery.

1. Make sure the parking brake is
locked.
NOTE
•
The. parking. brake. lamp. is. on.
while. the. parking. brake. lever. is.
pulled. up.. Parking. brake. lamp.
goes.off.when.the.parking.brake.
lever.is.released.
