  • Page 25 Front Wheel Drive Lever Move the front wheel drive lever rearward to engage the front wheel drive mechanism. During ordinary farming work, keep the lever forward to leave the mechanism disengaged. The front wheel drive mechanism is very effective on the following jobs. 1.

The axle of PTO is rotating clockwise (right turn) as viewed from behind the tractor. Ground Speed PTO As the ground speed PTO is driven through transmis- sion, it will not rotate when of the tractor is not in mo- tion and it is operating in proportion to wheel rotation.
  • Page 27 Clutch Pedal When the clutch pedal is fully depressed, the clutch is disengaged. Shift the main shift lever to the desired speed and gradually release the clutch pedal, then the clutch will become engaged. The clutch should be dis- engaged by stepping on the pedal quickly, and engaged by slow releasing the foot from the pedal so as not to damage the clutch plate.

As the load on the 3-point hitch changes due to various soil conditions, the draft control system automatically responds to these changes by either raising or lower- ing the implement slightly to maintain a constant pull. The water in the electrolyte evaporates during re- charging. Liquid shortage damages the battery and excessive liquid spills over and damages the trac- tor body.
