Multi-Stream Switching Video

Avaya Multi-Stream Switching (MSS) video solution utilizes the advance switched video
capabilities in Avaya Media Server 9.0.x (AMS) to distribute multiple video streams to each MSS
aware participant.
The MSSv1 is implemented by XT in this release and it involves these products in Avaya Equinox
Solution 9.1: XT Series endpoints, Avaya Equinox Clients, Avaya AURA, Equinox Management
and AMS (Avaya Media Server).
Equinox 9.1 is the first release where MSSv1 can be used as part of a complete conferencing
solution side by side with the legacy transcoding conferencing.
