Serviceability Enhancements

A few enhancements have been added to improve Avaya Customer Services for the XT Series
products.
Enhanced Access Service Gateway (EASG)
EASG provides a secure method for Avaya services personnel to access the Avaya XT Series
remotely and onsite, without providing remote access credentials to the technicians.
Access is under the control of the customer and can be enabled or disable at any time. EASG
must be enabled for Avaya Services to perform tasks necessary for the ongoing support,
management and optimization of the solution. EASG is also required to enable remote proactive
support tools, where applicable.
The customer can enable EASG and this will allow Avaya services logins (as sroot). Once EASG
is enabled it will remain enabled (even across updates or upgrades) until it is explicitly disabled by
the customer. The customer can disable EASG and this will disable any Avaya services logins
(sroot). Once EASG is disabled it will remain disabled (even across updates or upgrades) until it is
explicitly enabled back by the customer.
This release adds support on XT's WEB interface for EASG access.
