Audio Calls over the Limits of the MCU 4 license

In this release it is possible to place additional audio calls (up to 5), even if the XT has only the
basic embedded MCU license, supporting 3 remote video calls plus the local unit (total 4
connected users).
This new features applies to all XT Series endpoints, including Scopia XT7100, XT5000, XT4300,
and XT Executive 240. Furthermore, it works both for the MCU option (only hardware terminals)
and for the SMB option. Customers already owning a SMB4 or MCU4 option on their XT units will
obtain access to this feature just upgrading to v9.1.
Once the maximum number of video calls is reached, additional calls will be accepted or placed in
audio-only mode.
Please note that once the call it accepted or placed in audio only, it will not promoted to audio-
video when another video call disconnects.

the XT home page via Web.
Important
 License limitation is applied to audio-video calls (license limited calls, 3 or 8).
Remaining calls will be audio up to the max capacity (8).
 Overall limitations for encrypted calls and recorded calls are applied also to audio
calls (max 3 encrypted calls and max 6 recorded calls).
 When limiting the number of calls in MCU, you are limiting the total number of calls
(audio + video), so since this release the limited number of calls you can chose
ranges from 7 to 2 terminals, despite the MCU license.
 An indication about call protocol and type has been added when selecting an item in
the recent call list. Please note that if the call was placed as audio only, it will be
recalled as audio only.
