Installing lenses for D
Series projectors
Learn how to install and remove lenses for the D Series projectors.
These procedures apply to the LX801i, LW651i, LW751i, LWU601i, and LWU701i projectors.

Installing the lens

Only use lenses designed for the projector model.
1. Pull out the dust protector to remove it.
Christie recommends keeping the dust protector for future use.

2. Remove the front cover:
a) Slide the upper part of the front cover upward while pressing the front cover from the
underside and remove from the projector.
b) Slide the lower part of the front cover downward while pressing the front cover from the
upperside and remove from the projector.
