9.
Tower rotation locking lever
When the machine is moved and transported, the lever
q
should be set to the locking position; place the lever in the
locking position after positioning the upper tower parallel
to the lower car.
While the machine is moved, make sure that the upper tow-
q
er is oriented towards the scraper; if the tower is turned
180°, the controls are inverted.
This lever is used to lock tower rotation while the machine is
moved and when it is transported.
Pull the lever up to lock the rotation.
NOTE
Before placing the lever in the locking position, place the tower
q
parallel to the lower car.
If the tower and the lower car are not parallel, the tower cannot
be locked even if the lever is at the locking position.
To unlock tower rotation, pull the lever fully up and turn it down-
wards.
IMPORTANT
Do not turn the upper tower when the lever is at the locking
q
position.
10. Pedal locking device
(for the optional equipment control pedal)
Always lock the optional equipment control pedal when the
q
use of this control is not required, during travel and when
parking the machine. If the control pedal is inadvertently
pressed, this may cause serious accidents.
The safety device is used to lock the optional equipment control
pedal.
11. Optional equipment control pedal
The pedal controls oil delivery to and return from the optional
equipment.
Upper part of the pedal (A) pressed:

The oil flows to the right side of the arm (hydraulic tank side).
Lower part of the pedal pressed (B):
q
The oil flows to the left side of the arm (operator seat side).
