Position blocks under the tracks in order to prevent the ma-
chine from moving.
5.
Open the engine hood (2) completely and make sure that it is
kept open by the apposite rod (for further details, see "3.2.6
ENGINE HOOD").

Loosen the fastening screws of the cab floor (3).
7.
Remove the screws (4) that fasten the roof to the rear ballast
and push the platform (5) upwards in the direction of the ar-
row (approximately 45°).
IMPORTANT
When tilting or closing the cab floor, be extremely careful,

and keep away from the area under the cab floor.
NOTE
The cab floor tilts thanks to the operation of a gas cylinder, so
q
when the ambient temperature is low, the operating effort in-
creases.
8.
After lifting the platform, insert the safety pin (6) from outside
through the hole in bracket (7).
9.
Turn it until the coupling on the safety pin (6) end is fully
clamped by the bracket.
NOTE
Check that the safety pin (6) is correctly hooked to the bracket.
