Closing the cab floor
IMPORTANT
Before closing the cab floor, check that there is no damage
q
or anomaly in the wiring or piping located in the compart-
ment under the floor. If any damage or anomaly is ob-
served, have the necessary repairs carried out by your
Komatsu Distributor.
1.
Remove the safety pin (10) and store it into the apposite hole
(13).
NOTE
If the safety pin (10) does not come out, try again by pushing
q
the handle (6) at the same time.
2.
Pull the cab floor release lever (5) in the direction shown by
the arrow and at the same time pull the handle (6) down-
wards in the direction indicated by the arrow (approximately
45°).
IMPORTANT
Lower the cab floor slowly and make sure that the wires
q
and pipes located under it are neither damaged nor twist-
ed.
When tilting or closing the cab floor, be extremely careful,
q
and keep away from the area under the cab floor.
3.
Tighten the cab floor fastening screws (3) applying the re-
quired torque.
Tightening torque: 156.8 to 196 Nm
NOTE
If any screw is damaged, replace it with an original Komatsu
q
part having the same size.
4.
Close the engine hood (2).
