● External supply voltage
● Voltage for operation of the module
The user-replaceable fuse has blown
General communication error
For HART modules: Communication error with the HART field
device
Ground error (common mode error) e.g.:
● The permissible common mode voltage has been
exceeded in the case of non-isolated channels
● The M line is broken in the case of isolated channels
Error on the reference channel
At least one hardware interrupt could not be signaled
For HART modules: Additional status information of the
HART field device is available
There could be a warning, if limit values like:
● Speed
● Load current
are exceeded
For HART modules: Maintenance request of the HART field
device
Tripping can be, for example:
● Circuit breaker has tripped due to short-circuit,
asymmetry, ground fault
● Thermistor has tripped
Trigger/cause for safety-related tripping is pending
External (process-side) error, e.g.:
