Chapter 3: Maintenance

D A N G E R : For your own safety and for the safety of the equipment, do not remove the cover
of the Ensemble QLe or attempt to access its internal components.
There is no reason to remove the cover or access the internal components. The QLe does not have any user-
configurable switches or jumpers. Internal fuses are not user-replaceable.
N O T E : Having to replace a fuse indicates a more serious problem with the system or setup; consult
Aerotech for assistance.

Symptom
No Communication

Description
Turns green when power is applied.
Turns Red during initial system start-up for approximately 20 seconds then
Green: Piezo is being controlled (Open or Closed Loop)
Red: Fault Condition
Off: Piezo is not actively controlled
Possible Cause and Solution
Make sure the power LED is illuminated (this indicates that AC power is
present).
Make sure the Ethernet or USB cables are fully inserted in the port.
