17. Remove the 4 screws from the inside of
the door. Screw the front panel at these
points using the 4 screws (k) supplied.
You have now fitted the front panel.
Adjusting the opening of the
door
You can adjust how easy or diffi cult it
is to open the dishwasher door. This
setting is often required after the front
panel has been mounted. You can
change the spring force of the door by
turning both lower screws.
To adjust the door
– so that it is easier to open, turn the screws
in an anti-clockwise direction.
– so that it is more difficult to open, turn the
screws in a clockwise direction.

Setting the water hardness

Hard water will cause calcification within the
(k)
dishwasher. Also, more dishwasher deter-
gent will be required to clean the dishes. Soft
water increases foaming. For this reason, the
degree of hardness of the water has to be
determined and adjusted even before the first
use. You can determine the water hardness
from your water bill or enquire about the de-
gree of hardness at the water supply compa-
ny. The appliance is set to a hardness level
