Activating/deactivating
automatic door opening
The "Automatic door opening" function is acti-
vated as standard. The appliance door opens
automatically during the drying phase of the
dishwashing programme and remains open.
This ensures particularly efficient drying. Wait
for the programme to end before removing
the dishes to achieve the best possible drying
result.
Automatic door opening can be deactivated.
However, this can impact the drying effect
and can change the energy consumption.
• In order to
– deactivate automatic door opening,
press buttons
(4) and P (5) simulta-
neously. The display shows AF.
– activate automatic door opening, press
the 'Delayed start' button
simultaneously. The display shows AO.
Delayed start
The wash cycle normally starts as soon as you
press the

your head or upper body directly
above the open appliance door.
■ Keep children and pets away from
the appliance when opening the ap-
pliance door.
■ Make sure that children do not open
the appliance door during operation.
You can add more dishes even if the dish-
washing programme is already running.
