PREPARATION
DIGITAL STATUS KEY "STAT" (p. 29)
➥ Push to enter the Status Message selecton mode.
After selectng the desred Status Message, push agan to
enter the destnaton Indvdual ID selecton mode to send
a Status Message.
• If no operaton s performed for about 30 sec., the transcever
returns to normal operaton.
• Whle n the Trunkng mode, the Indvdual ID selecton mode
does not appear.
➥ Push and hold for 1 sec. to cancel and return to normal
operaton.
DIGITAL MESSAGE KEY "MSG" (p. 31)
➥ Push to enter the Short Message selecton mode.
After selectng the Short Message, push agan to enter the
destnaton Indvdual ID selecton mode to send a Short
Message.
• If no operaton s performed for about 30 sec., the transcever
returns to normal operaton.
• Whle n the Trunkng mode, the Indvdual ID selecton mode
does not appear.
➥ Push and hold for 1 sec. to cancel and return to normal
operaton.

PHONE KEY "PHON" (p. 35)
➥ Push to enter the phone number selecton mode for a
Phone call. Then push [CH Up]/[CH Down] or rotate [CH
Up/Down] to select the desred phone number.
• Push [PTT] to transmt the Phone call.
• If no operaton s performed for about 30 sec., the transcever
returns to normal operaton.
➥ Push and hold for 1 sec. to cancel and return to normal
operaton.
INDIVIDUAL KEY "INDV" (p. 15)
Push to drectly enter the Indvdual ID selecton mode. Then
select the desred Indvdual ID code usng [CH Up]/[CH
Down] or [CH Up/Down].
• The Indvdual ID can be edted wth the 10-keypad*. (Dependng
on the pre-settng.)
*10-key types only.
• Whle n the Indvdual ID selecton mode, push to cancel and
return to normal operaton.
TALKGROUP KEY "TGID" (p. 17)
Push to drectly enter the Talkgroup ID selecton mode. Then
select the desred Talkgroup ID code usng [CH Up]/[CH
Down] or [CH Up/Down].
• Durng the Talkgroup ID selecton, push to cancel and return to
normal operaton.
