w Select the desred Indvdual ID (or name) usng [CH Up]/
[CH Down] or [CH Up/Down].
• The Indvdual ID can be edted wth the 10-keypad*. (Dependng
on the pre-settng.)
* 10-key types only.
To edit the Individual ID using the 10-keypad:
Input the Indvdual ID drectly wth the 10-keypad.
• Push [M] to clear a code.
For Handheld types:

e Push and hold [PTT] to transmt the Indvdual call to the
target staton, then speak nto the mcrophone.
• The Busy/Transmt ndcator (for Handhelds) or Transmt ndca-
tor (for Mobles) lghts red.
• Dependng on the pre-settng, the target staton does not open
the squelch, and communcaton s not establshed, f the Ind-
vdual ID or NAC (Network Access Code) s not matched. Ask
your dealer for detals.
r Release [PTT] to receve.
For Mobile types:

q When an Indvdual call s receved;
• The Busy/Transmt ndcator (for Handhelds) or Busy ndcator
(for Mobles) lghts green.
• The rnger sounds. (Dependng on the pre-settng.)
• The callng staton ID (or name) s dsplayed for 2 sec. (Depend-
ng on the pre-settng.)
• Dependng on the pre-settng, the transcever does not open the
squelch, and communcaton s not establshed, f the Indvdual
ID or NAC (Network Access Code) s not matched. Ask your
dealer for detals.
For Handheld types:

For P25 Trunking mode operation:
When the Full Off Ar Call SetUp (FOACSU) functon s
turned ON, beeps sound after recevng a call. In that
case, push [PTT] to accept the call. Then, operate as de-
scrbed n steps w and e above. If you gnore the call by
not pushng [PTT] for a specfied tme perod*, commun-
caton s not establshed. Or, pushng [Home] after recev-
ng the call wll also gnore t.

For Mobile types:
