n Roaming function
(P25 Trunking mode only)
The P25 Trunkng mode allows the transcever to move to an-
other system or WACN (Wde Area Communcaton Network),
accordng to the pre-programmed roamng lst*, n order to
find a ste that has a hgher qualty sgnal, or provdes better
servces.
The Roamng functon s automatcally actvated when the
transcever goes out of the range and does not receve the
downlnk sgnal from the repeater n the current regstered
home system.
* The vald roamng areas (up to 10) are lsted on the roamng lst.

APCO P25 MODE OPERATION
n Site Lock function
(P25 Trunking mode only)
The transcever can be locked nto the current ste wth
[Site Lock].
When the Ste Lock functon s actvated, roamng and the
background scan are nhbted.
Ths functon s helpful when stayng wthn one ste and you
don't want the transcever to roam or scan other stes.
However f the transcever goes out of the range and does
not receve the downlnk sgnal from the current ste, the
transcever wll automatcally start huntng for a vald ste,
even f the Ste Lock functon s actvated.
✔ What is the Background Scan?
When ths functon s ON, the transcever always montors
a control channel of an adjacent ste whle operatng n the
regstered ste. (Default: OFF)
