APCO P25 MODE OPERATION
D Transmitting an Emergency call along with
an Emergency alarm
q Push and hold [Emergency]*

• The countdown starts mmedately.
w After the specfied tme perod*
cever automatcally, and repeatedly, transmts an Emer-
gency alarm.
• To ext the emergency mode, push and hold [Emergency] agan
before transmttng an Emergency alarm.
• After recevng an acknowledgement, "ACK RECEIVED" s ds-
played (Smple and 10-key types only), and dependng on the
pre-settng, the transcever exts the emergency mode.
• When an acknowledgement s not receved, "NO ACKNOWLDG"
s dsplayed. (Smple and 10-key types only) And dependng on
the pre-settng, the transcever automatcally transmts the mcro-
phone audo (Auto TX).
e Push and hold [PTT] to transmt an Emergency call.
• The Busy/Transmt ndcator (for Handhelds) or Transmt ndca-
tor (for Mobles) lghts red.
r To ext the emergency mode, turn the power OFF.

An Emergency alarm can be receved only whle n the Con-
ventonal mode.
An emergency alarm decode acton and automatc acknowl-
edgement capablty should be enabled by your dealer wth
the CS-F9010/F9510

• The Busy/Transmt ndcator (for Handhelds) or Busy ndcator
(for Mobles) lghts green.
• The rnger sounds.
• "EA RECEIVED" and the callng staton ID (or name) blnk. (Sm-
ple and 10-key types only)
For Handheld types:
