Defect in the electronic pen
Problem
• When trying to write with
an electronic pen, the
cursor moves, but the
writing is not displayed.
• Although it is not possible to
write in the pen mode in the
operation menu, it is
possible to write in the
finger mode.
• When starting the pen by
pushing the nib, the
emission interval of the LED
of the pen is 8 seconds.
• It is hard to write because
the nib is crushed.
• The nib is crushed and does
not move smoothly, and the
switch of the nib does not
turn on (when pushing, the
LED does not light up).
When more than one D5500
are installed in adjoined meeting
spaces, the writing gets confused
if writing is done on more than
one device simultaneously.
Cause
Dead battery in the
electronic pen
The nib is worn out
The infrared signals are
crossed
Troubleshooting
Solution
Replace the battery of the
electronic pen
Replace the nib
Change the ID of the electronic
pen
