5. Troubleshooting

Errors at start-up

The following are the causes and the solutions when an error is displayed after the start-up screen is
displayed after the main part power is turned ON.
Error display
A bootable device has not been
detected.
Please refer to the Product Guide
at http://support.intel.com/
support/motherboards/desktop/
Reboot and Select proper Boot
device or Insert Boot Media in
selected Boot device and press a

CMOS Battery Low
CMOS Checksum Bad
Memory size Decreased
No boot Device Available

SSD is not recognized.
• SSD connector
disconnected
• SSD breakage
Start-up error by OS-data
breakage
Dead button battery on the
mother board
Data breakage in the BIOS
Memory sizes differ.
• SSD connector
disconnected

Solution
• SSD connector check
• SSD replacement
• SSD replacement
• OS recovery (to be
included from version
1.3)
Button battery replacement on
the mother board
Turn the power off, press F2
when you reboot, and then the
BIOS setting screen appears.
On the BIOS setting screen,
do Load Default (or Save as it
is).
Return to the state of the
default loaded memory (8G).
