Problem
The following indications are not
given directly under "Mouse and
other devices" in the Device
Manager of the service mode.
Defect in LCD
Problem
Vertical featherings occur on the
screen at about 5 mm intervals.
Cause
Defective position sensor or
connector disconnected
Cause
Noise is influencing the
display signals.
Troubleshooting
Solution
• Check the position sensor
harness
• When not improved with the
above, replace the position
sensor.
Solution
• Turn the main power source
OFF/ON.
• When it is not solved with the
above, reset the LCD control
board.
See "Resetting the LCD panel"
When this is done, the settings
for the LCD brightness,
contrast, etc. are reset. Adjust
if needed.
