5 Preparation for use

NOTICE
Incorrect donning and removal of the prosthetic glove
Damage to the prosthetic hand and the prosthetic glove due to non-observance of instructions
for use
► Observe all instructions for donning and removal. The prosthetic hand must always be
mounted on the donning tool.
► Only use the components listed (equipment, tools, materials) and have them close to hand.
► Avoid damage that can be caused to the prosthetic hand and the prosthetic glove, e.g. from
tools and excessive force (in particular on the thumb).
INFORMATION
It is not possible to colour the prosthetic glove with the 635P15=* Colour Pens.
5.1 Preparations for donning and removal
NOTICE
Non-observance of instructions for the donning tool
Damage to the product due to unsuitable donning tool
► Only use the donning tool specified and follow the donning instructions.

Tools required:
>
711M64 Mounting Tool, 711M1 Mounting Tool (Alignment Rod)
and either 711M2 Mounting Plate or vice
► Install the mounting tool on the alignment rod.
INFORMATION: The alignment rod must be clamped in a
vice, vertically for donning and horizontally for removal.
Tools required:
>
711M114 Donning Sphere, 711M1 Mounting Tool (Alignment
Rod) and either 711M2 Mounting Plate or vice
► Attach the donning sphere to the alignment rod.
► When using the mounting plate:
INFORMATION: Install the mounting plate on a suitable
surface and at optimal working height.
Attach the alignment rod to the mounting plate.
