4 Safety instructions for Installation
WARNING!
The appliance must be earthed.
WARNING!
All modifications to the mains power cable plug should be done by a qualified electrician.
WARNING!
The Animo appliance has to be fused, either in the plug or elsewhere in the circuit.
CAUTION!
Do not tilt the appliance more than 5° during transport or use.
4.1

Before installation

Before installing, check the installation location.
Make sure that:

Voltage power supply corresponds to the voltage stated in the installation manual or on the
appliance`s label.

For appliances that needs to be filled with water, a water connection and discharge point to
discharge the water, must be located near the appliance.

Supplied water pressure must be between 1 bar and 10 bar.

Water is of human drinking quality.

Make sure the environment temperature does not drop below 0 °C / 32°F or rise above 40 °C
/104°F.

Make sure the relative humidity of the environment is below 80%.
4.2

Installing the appliance

Take the following precautions while positioning the appliance:

Do not install or use the appliance outdoors.

Make sure the appliance is placed level on a robust surface capable of supporting the weight of
the appliance.

Make sure the appliance and accessories cannot be damaged by heat or sharp objects.

Make sure that there is sufficient ventilation space around the appliance to allow heat to
escape.

Do not install the appliance in a moist environment or where water can fall on the appliance.
4.3

Connecting the appliance

4.3.1 Water supply
Connect the appliance to water supply that can be manually turned off.
Only use original Animo hose-sets provided with the new machine and/or the new water filter. Do
not use old hoses.
