EDM refers to the laser distancer incorporated into the instru-
ment which enables distance measurement.
Two measuring modes are available:

Description
A multipurpose field controller enabling the remote control
of the TS15 instrument.
The office software including a series of help programs
which support working with Leica Viva Series instruments.
Prism mode. This mode refers to the ability to measure
distances to prisms. It incorporates the LO mode to measure
extended distances to prisms.
Non prism (Any surface) mode. This mode refers to the
ability to measure distances without prisms.
