    PROFIsafe is a protocol for secure communication, and is certified in accordance with IEC 61784-3-3. For the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750, I/O modules were developed with safety- related inputs and outputs (PROFIsafe I/O modules) without any drastic changes to the existing series 750 system, making mixed operation of safety-related and non-safety-related I/O modules possible.

The PROFIsafe I/O modules should be stored in the original packaging when possible, which offers optimal protection during transport.

    Don't forget the bus end module! Always plug a bus end module 750-600 onto the end of the fieldbus node! You must always use a bus end module at all fieldbus nodes with the WAGO I/O System 750 fieldbus couplers/controllers to guarantee proper data transfer.

Working on devices when the system is energized can damage the devices. Therefore, turn off the power supply before working on the devices.
