Preliminaries Actions

Note: is required the version => GF_ProjectVX 4.6.0
Start an eView LTxxx system with GF_ProjectVx, with version
>= 4.6.0.
Enter in GSetup touching the display when required.
Enter into the "Configuration / Remote Systems" menu.
Select (touching) the setting "default: 127.0.0.1" in the
Deployed pages configuration window (high on the right).
Click on the button "< == Copy".
Select (touching) the setting "default: 127.0.0.1" in the Active
configuration window (high on the left).
Modify the address in the lower part, inserting the wanted IP
address for the eView BOX remote system to be connected.
Example: 192.168.1.2.
After set the IP address, click "Change"
High on the left the new IP address must be visible. Example:
"default: 192.168.1.2"
In the lower part of the display there are 4 colored rows:
remote Status window.
Click the button of the first colored row on the right "..."
The remote system configuration page opens.
In the low part, the USB key tools window allow to prepare a
USB key to configure the eView BOX system.
Select "Auto start GSETUP and activate VNC" and "Force
IP address".
Select the system for eView BOX, eView/AXM.
Insert an empty USB key into the system and click on
"Generate USB key".
The SUCCESS message, next to the button, informs about
the positive outcome of the operation.
Start the eView BOX system.
Wait for a couple of minutes FOR THE COMPLETE starting
of the system; led PW and RN on.
Insert the just created configuration key and wait for the
complete reboot.
eView BOX is restarted with the temporary IP address
specified on the key and with active VNC server.
Connect to eView BOX using a VNC client and complete the
remote system configuration.

Attention: the IP address given by the key is
temporary and isn't stored into the eView BOX.
Set the IP address with the specific configuration
page, accessible through VNC, in order to make
permanent the modification.

Remote system management with
GSetup
Starting GSetup on a system where remote systems are
configured using GF_ProjectVX, it's possible to list and
check all the remote systems status at once:
The page is divided in the following sections:
Available commands:
For example, by transferring a complete pages program on
another system monitor and choosing the main system IP
address at "default" configuration, it's possible to entirely
remote the pages program.
The box color belong the remote system listed has the
following meaning:
Inside the cyan box a numerical code tell us the system
running status. For the meaning, please open the advanced
diagnostic page.
Inside the pink box there is hardware type and operating
system version of the connected remote system.
Deployed pages configuration: all the configured remote
systems are listed taking information from the IP address
stored inside GF_ProjectVX design project.
Active configuration: allows to change the active IP
addresses, in order to better fit on the plant configuration,
without the need to change GF_ProjectVX application.
Remote Status: up to 4 remote systems status are listed,
using the configuration information from the above
boxes "Remote systems"
"Copy" button: it takes IP information from the GF_
ProjectVX default and activate them, allowing to change
them, if needed.
"Restore default" button: it deletes the custom IP
configuration and activates the GF_ProjectVX default
ones.
"Change" button: when one item is selected, inside
"Active configuration" list, allows to change the
associated IP address.
"..." buttons belong systems status: opens the advanced
diagnostic page for the selected remote system. In case
of local address "127.0.0.1" selected, it does nothing.
Red: the system does not reply.
Yellow: trying to communicate. Please wait.
Green: the remote system is active and ready.
