Setting SCSI Target Addresses on the Drives

The disk drive unit is installed in the SCSI tray of the SPARCserver 1000
system. The SCSI tray supports up to six SCSI devices: one CD-ROM drive, one
tape drive, and up to four disk drives. See Figure 1-3.

Table 1-2 shows the physical arrangement of the SCSI tray and the target
addresses of each drive as you view the tray from the front. Note that each
disk drive has a unique SCSI target address.
