Removing a Disk Drive From
the Bracket
Caution – Use the ESD kit provided with your disk drive unit for this
!
procedure.
1. Attach the antistatic strap to your wrist and to a ground point (the bare
metal of the card cage, for instance).
2. Place the disk drive unit on the antistatic mat, with the retaining screws
facing up.
3. Remove the four screws for the selected disk drive. See Figure A-1.
