3) Wash the support / orthosis in 30 °C warm water using a standard
mild detergent. Do not use fabric softener. Rinse thoroughly.
4) Allow to air dry. Do not expose to direct heat sources (e. g. sunlight,
stove or radiator).
4 Legal information
4.1 Liability
The manufacturer's warranty applies only if the device has been used
under the conditions and for the purposes described. The manufacturer
recommends that the device be used and maintained according to the
instructions for use.
4.2 CE Conformity
This device meets the requirements of the 93 / 42 / EEC guidelines for
medical devices. This device has been classified as a class I device
according to the classification criteria outlined in appendix IX of the
guidelines. The declaration of conformity was therefore created by Otto
Bock with sole responsibility according to appendix VII of the guidelines.
1 Utilisation
1.1 Champ d'application
L'orthèse est destinée exclusivement pour l'appareillage orthétique du
poignet et au contact avec une peau saine.
1.2 Principe de fonctionnement
L'orthèse tricotée en forme sert à comprimer et stabiliser le poignet. Elle
favorise la sensorimotricité et stimule la stabilisation musculaire. L'attelle
palmaire en plastique épouse les formes de l'anatomie et peut être ajus­
tée à chaque patient. Cette attelle garantit un positionnement optimal de
la main et sert à limiter les mouvements du poignet. La pelote placée dans
