Before you begin installing the seat
into your vehicle, did you check:
Your child's weight and height?
4-30 lb (1.8-13.6 kg) and
32 in. (81.3 cm) or less in height
Your child's fi t? See page 9.
Do you need to make adjustments
to the harness height or the buckle
position?
You will not be using the AutoLock feature when
installing with LATCH: Lower Anchor/UAS Belt.
If you will not be using the load leg, start install at step 2.

If Using the Load Leg, Pull
it Out from Under the Base
Do not use the load leg on top of
vehicle storage compartments.
Review your vehicle owner's
manual.

Remove LATCH: Lower
Anchor/UAS Belt from
Storage Location
Unhook LATCH: Lower Anchor/
UAS connectors from base by
pressing the red release button
on each connector.
Loosen LATCH: Lower

Anchor/UAS Belt
Only 1 connector has an
adjuster. Push adjuster's button
and pull belt to loosen.
Place Base in Vehicle

Rear Facing
Center the base in the chosen
seating position.
