Rear-Facing Use with Base

with the vehicle lap or lap/shoulder belt.
Check the vehicle belt or the lower anchor/UAS belt
before each use. Use only if the belt can be tightened
properly and locked securely in place.
Do not fasten multiple lower anchor/UAS connectors on
the same lower/UAS anchor bar in the vehicle.
Child restraint must be securely attached to base.
Do not use the load leg on top of vehicle storage
compartments. Review your vehicle owner's manual.
LATCH: Lower
Do not refer to the level line on the shell when installing
Anchor/
with the base.
UAS Belt
This child restraint MUST always face the rear of the
vehicle.
Failure to follow these warnings can result in serious
injury or death.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that
children remain rear-facing until they are at least 2 years
old. Please talk to your doctor about the best option for your
child.
WARNINGS
Never install a rear-facing child restraint in
the front seat of a vehicle equipped with an
active frontal airbag.
Do not use the lower anchor/UAS belt along
