Anchor + Tether Install
Do not use the lower anchors of the child restraint anchorage
system (LATCH system) to attach this child restraint when
restraining a child weighing more than 40 lbs (18 kg).
Before you begin installing the seat
into your vehicle, did you check:
Your child's weight and height?
See page 39.
Your child's fi t? See page 9.
Do you need to make adjustments to the
harness/headrest height or the buckle position?
Forward-Facing
AutoLock
Torso Position 1
or 2 Can Be Used
You may adjust to
Position 2 as your
child grows.
IMPORTANT!
Do not use the AutoLock
feature when installing with
lower anchor belts.

Raise the Headrest All the
Way Up
Undo All of the Headrest

Pad Fasteners
Lift Up the Headrest Pad to

Reveal the Forward-Facing
Belt Path
From the Back of the Seat,

Flip the Seat Pad Forward to
Reveal Lower Anchor Belt
Remove belt and connectors from the
storage location or if belt was used
rear-facing, remove from the Rear-
Facing Belt Path.
