    Accessory Use Infant Head Support When using the infant head support, make sure it does not cover your child’s face in any way. You may remove it for bigger infants. To remove, pull it off of the harness straps. Harness Covers The harness covers help provide comfort to your child’s neck.

This is often when they have reached at least 4 feet 9 inches in height and are 8 to 12 years old. Before installing the car seat in your vehicle, check to see if you need to adjust the buckle position for your child.

Types of Retractors Switchable Retractor (most vehicles have this type) This retractor can be switched to a locking mode.
