With Child Secured in
Child Restraint, Attach
Child Restraint to Base
Pull up on front two corners of
child restraint by child's feet to
make sure it is locked to the
base.
Carry handle
upright AND locked when
carrying and when installed
in the vehicle.
Do not refer to the level line
on the shell when installing
with the base.

Recheck Base Angle
Indicator
The angle indicator will be
green when correct angle is
achieved.
Redo the installation if not
reclined correctly.

to determine how to lock the belt with the retractor.
Check the tightness of the install often to make sure it
has not loosened.
Check your child's fi t often and make any needed
adjustments to the car seat as they grow.
NOTE: You may need to place
a tightly rolled towel(s) or foam
pool noodle(s) under the front
of the base to help achieve the
correct recline.
Check often to be sure padding
is still in place and the belt is
tight.
Finished!
When used correctly, the AutoLock
will lock the vehicle belt in place.
After the base has been installed, if
your car has a switchable retractor,
you may also use it to lock the belt.
