6-20 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
PICK-UP COIL RESISTANCE
Measure the resistance between the lead wire and ground using
the multi-circuit tester. If the resistance is not within the specified
value, the pick-up coil must be replaced.
09900-25008: Multi-circuit tester set
Tester knob indication: Resistance (Ω)
Pick-up coil resistance:
150 – 240 Ω (When engine is cold)

SWITCHES

Measure each switch for continuity using the multi-circuit tester. If there is no continuity, replace the respec-
tive switch with a new one.
