Chapter 8: Diagnosing and recovering from problems
Here's what to do:
• If you changed the processor, it may not be fully supported by the BIOS. The
computer will operate normally but you will always see this error when you
turn on the computer.
• If you did not change the processor, turn off the system, wait 15 seconds,
and then turn on the system again.
See error code 10X on page 123.
See error code 163 on page 126.
Make sure the battery is installed correctly. If the error continues, install a new
battery. For instructions on installing the battery, see "Replacing the system
battery" on page 74.
