CONVERTINGALAP-SASHSEATBELT
FORUSEWITHTHECHILDHARNESS.
With the booster the seat installed in the vehicle, sit the
child in the seat. Fit the vehicle lap sash belt into the
vehicle buckle and position the lap strap over the child's
hips and thighs. Ensure all slack is removed from the lap
strap.
Locate the gated slide for the next step.
Take the sash strap away from the child's chest and place
together with the lap strap across the hips and thighs.
Engage the straps into the gated slide with the hollow side
towards the booster seat.
The gated slide should be close to the child but not
touching and should guide the sash belt back to the
retractor away from the child.

to 53.
Check and adjust the crotch buckle height to suit the child.
With the SecureGuard™ Device hooked over the lap belt,
the lap belt should sit within the red clip and should not be
able to lift up into the abdomen region of the child.
Both the converted lap/sash seatbelt and SecureGuard™
Device are now setup. Proceed to page 54 to fit the child
harness to the child in readiness of vehicle travel.
