11. TROUBLESHOOTING

11.1 TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

PROBLEM
Engine will not start.
Conveyor will not start.
Electrical functions are not work-
ing properly.
Remote throttle doesn't work.
CAUSE
No fuel.
Low engine oil.
Cold engine.
Ignition key switch off.
Battery dead.
Engine problem.
Not rotating.
Hydraulic pump coupling or con-
veyor motor coupling.
Failed centrifugal clutch.
Battery cable or battery.
Improper ground.
No input power.
SOLUTION
Fill the fuel tank.
Fill the crankcase with oil.
Close choke.
Turn ignition key switch on.
Recharge or replace battery.
Refer to engine manual.
Start engine and increase speed above
1400 RPM.
Repair or replace. Refer to "10.11 Hy-
draulic System" on page 48.
Replace clutch.
Check battery cable and make sure battery
is fully charged.
Check for proper grounding of electrical
circuit.
Check charge of battery. Recharge or
replace, as required.
Check connections in the remote throttle
harness. Be sure connectors are clean
andterminalsarefirmlypushedtogether.
