Preliminary Work

Vehicle
• Open the fuel tank cap.
• Ventilate the fuel tank.
• Close the fuel tank cap again.
• Depressurise the cooling system.
• Disconnect and remove the battery.
• Remove the battery trim.
• Completely remove the coolant reservoir (only in case of 1.0 Petrol and Diesel).
• Remove the windscreen wipers (only in case of 1.0 Petrol and Diesel).
• Remove the lower engine cover.
• Remove the footwell trim on the driver's and front passenger's sides.
• Remove the stowage compartment of the instrument panel on the driver's side.
Heater
• Remove years that do not apply from the type and duplicate label.
• Attach the duplicate label (type label) at the appropriate place in the engine compartment.
