Use caution when handling the power module, it may be damaged if dropped from heights in
excess of 20 feet.
NOTE
Wireless devices should only be powered up after the Smart Wireless Gateway, in order of
proximity from the Gateway beginning with the closest device. This results in a simpler and
faster network installation.

Mounting, Wiring Switches, and Sensors:
Models 702DX22 and 702DX61
Install the switch according to standard installation practices being sure to use thread
sealant on all of the connections.
Run wiring (and conduit, if necessary) from the switch to the 702 transmitter.
Pull the wiring through the threaded conduit entry.
Attach the switch wiring to the terminals as shown in the wiring diagrams beginning on
page
22.
If commissioning the 702 transmitter, connect the power module as shown in
3-2 on page
20.
Close the housing cover and tighten to safety specifications. Always ensure a proper
seal by installing the electronic housing covers so that metal touches metal, but do not
over tighten.
Position the antenna such that it is vertical, either straight up or straight down, as
shown in
Figure 3-3 on page
any large structures or buildings, to allow clear communication to other devices.
