  • Page 2 Emerson Wireless Gateway The Rosemount 708 Transmitter and all other wireless devices should be installed only after the Emerson Wireless Gateway has been installed and is functioning properly. Wireless devices should also be powered up in order of proximity from the Emerson Wireless Gateway, beginning with the closest.

    Mounting in a high temperature application. Procedure 1. Locate the Rosemount 708 Transmitter on a horizontal section of piping as close as possible to the equipment to be monitored. Align the waveguide of the transmitter as shown in Figure 3-4 2.
