    Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can cause serious damage to electronic components, including the WAFER series motherboard and the power module. (Dry climates are especially susceptible to ESD.) It is therefore critical that whenever the ITCS-100-H81 is opened and any electrical component handled, the following anti-static precautions are strictly adhered to.

    Air Circulation: Make sure there is sufficient air circulation when installing the ITCS-100-H81. The ITCS-100-H81’s cooling vents must not be obstructed by any objects. Blocking the vents can cause overheating of the ITCS-100-H81. Leave at least 5 cm of clearance around the ITCS-100-H81 to prevent overheating. ...

    There are four RS-232 connectors via DB-78 and four RS-232/422/485 connectors via DB-78 for serial device connection.
