Position detection (GPS)

The CMR is equipped with a GPS interface via which the position data of the LOGO! station
can be determined. If a GPS antenna is connected to the GPS interface, the following
functions are available to you:
● Detecting position data:
– Due to an event at an input of the CMR.
– Due to an event from the BM.
– Due to a received SMS message (with the mobile wireless antenna connected)
● Sending detected position data:
– By SMS message
– To the BM
To be able to use the functions listed above, you first need to activate (Page 56) the GPS
interface in the WBM of the CMR. For correct position detection, the GPS signals need to be
received from three satellites.
