9.1.1 Regenerative brake option

(1) Combination and regenerative power
The regenerative power values in the table are the regenerative power of the resistor and are not the
rated power.

Note: The composite resistor value of three options is 1.3 Ω . The resistor value of one option is 4 Ω .
(2) Parameter setting
When using the regenerative brake option, set the parameter of the converter unit. Match parameter
No. 0 to the regenerative brake option used.
(3) Regenerative loss of servo amplifier and servo motor

• Before connecting any option or auxiliary equipment, make sure that the charge
lamp is off more than 10 minutes after power-off, then confirm the voltage with a
tester or the like. Otherwise, you may get an electric shock.
• Use the specified auxiliary equipment and options. Unspecified ones may lead to a
fault or fire.
• The specified combinations of regenerative brake options and servo amplifiers may
only be used. Otherwise, a fire may occur.
